Results Of The Selected PollQuestion:Should funding for Schools Music Service in Solihull be cut? Our Opinion:On the 1st March the Conservative run Solihull Council set the budget for next year and in the process cut funding for the Scools Music Service in half. The service gives music lessons to 700 children and provides opportunites for 1000s to play in groups and ensambles. The cut in funding mean the price for lessons has risen from £290 to £600. Lib Dem Council Leader Norman Davies has attacked these cuts saying, "for a family with two children, with both having lesson, will in some cases be higher than Council Tax!" Your Opinion:29%
